Tuesday's Homework Dec. 8th

6th Grade
English:  Review direct objects, indirect objects
Writing:  Improve snowman story
                Type the whole story, and add pictures.;  you may turn it into a powerpoint presentation, story book, or just a typed story.  Be creative.  You may use different fonts or colors.
Literature:   Book club reading;  be sure to be up to your page by Friday.

7th Grade
Writing: Improve music reviews.  Print out on the Time magazine template.  Remember single-space, 2 cols.; two music reviews.

8th Grade
Project binder is due Thursday.  You will add your book report, and test on that day.  

 You've done a great job with this unit!  I'm looking forward to introducing you to another memorable novel, To Kill a Mockingbird.  Remember you should have your copy by Dec. 16th.

Again, enjoy your field trip!  The Christmas trees are beautiful!

Writing:  Improve your music review from last week; write a rough draft of a new music review
Literature:  Latin root/ miss      Two worksheets

8th Grade
Literature:  Continue to compile the parts for the project binder.
Type book report; double-spaced, 12 pt. font

Book report due tomorrow.
Test on Fahrenheit 451 tomorrow also.

Thursday, the project binder is due.

Enjoy the museum on Wednesday.  Remember to look for the Berlin Wall display.

 Great job today!  Bring in notes about your favorite song for Monday.  We will write a review about that song, and then print them both out for the Time magazine:)     Due Wednesday.
Literature
 Continue with AR reading.  Let's try to make our goals this trimester!

8th Grade
Writing:  
Book report / paragraphs 4 and 5
Typed final draft of book report will be due Tuesday.  All paragraphs should be in one essay, not on separate pages.  
Bring in binder and plastic sheet covers on Monday.  Also bring in your ideas for your project cover.
Literature:
Test on Fahrenheit 451 will be Tuesday.  Use your  guide questions to study. 
Entire project will be due  Thursday.
Remember to get your copy of  To Kill a Mockingbird  and to return parental permission.
